What your founder profile needs and when a listing waits for it
The fields of a founder profile, the hold on free listings, and why paid launches are never held.

The profile behind every nominee
Fill in your founder profile at /account/founder: a photo plus a one-line description of it, your full name, your title or role, your country, a short bio (at least 80 characters) and at least one personal link, meaning your own website or a personal social profile rather than a company page. City and a founder story link are optional extras.
Paid launches go straight on
If you paid for your launch, it goes live at once or in the week you picked, whether or not the profile is finished. That also covers a relaunch, the multi-site bundle, the done-for-you listing and a free listing after it is upgraded to a paid launch. Completing the profile is something we invite, since it is shown on your listing; it is not a condition.
Free listings are held until it is complete
A free listing joins the list only when our badge is verified on your website and the owner's founder profile is complete. It waits until both are true and is then released automatically; it is never lost. If its queue week has already passed, it goes live in the next free-queue week, and we tell you.
Your co-founders
Invite them from the Team section of /account/founder. They show on the product once their own profile is complete.
