How it started
At zinndigital.com, Neil Lock is building the platform of his company, Zinn Digital®. As a child, Neil learned technology on the family farm's computer systems, the Commodore 64 and the ZX Spectrum; at about twenty it became his profession. Neil has more than 25 years of building software, search and hosting behind him; in Zinn Digital® his hosting, search and AI work meet in one product.
The idea
Zinn Digital® is AI-first hosting and SEO in one platform. Everything is managed from a single dashboard in the customer's own language and currency; the platform itself is published in 58 languages.
What he is building
The hosting comes in two forms: Footprint-Free Hosting for SEOs and Mainstream Hosting for managed WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, static and Node sites. The infrastructure under every site is built, tuned and owned by Zinn Digital® itself, end to end. Each site is kept in a kernel-level cage of its own and watched by a proactive firewall and malware scanning, while smart auto-purge keeps its LiteSpeed full-page cache, its Redis object cache and the CDN edge in step. There is a 24/7 AI support agent with real functions, built by Neil, alongside a spec-first API, generated SDKs, a CLI, a Terraform provider, signed webhooks and an MCP server. Agencies can resell the hosting under their own brand.
