Claim your sponsored placement
We offer three sponsorship slots, each clearly marked Sponsored. None of them buy votes, move your ranking or change how the Best Biz list is decided.
- Homepage: $49 for 7 days in the one Sponsored slot on our homepage.
- Category page: $19 for 7 days at the top of your listing's category.
- Newsletter: $29 for one issue of our weekly newsletter.
How dates are scheduled
One sponsor holds each slot at a time. If the slot is free, your run starts straight away. If it is already booked, your run queues directly after the last one. The exact dates you would receive are shown on /sponsor and again in your cart before payment.
How to book
You need a live or booked listing. Visit /sponsor, select your listing and the slot you want, then add it to your cart like any other purchase. You can also book from "Upgrades and extras" on /account/listings, or during submission on the plan step.
Track your results
After you pay, /account/sponsorships shows each sponsorship as live, scheduled or ended. You can see the exact dates it ran and how many times visitors saw and clicked it.
Questions people ask
- What does a sponsorship actually do?
- It places your company name in a marked Sponsored slot—on the homepage, at the top of your category page, or in the weekly newsletter. It does not affect votes, rankings or the Best Biz list.
- When does my sponsorship start?
- If the slot is free, it starts straight away. If another sponsor has booked it, yours queues behind theirs. /sponsor shows you the exact dates before you pay.
- Where do I see how my sponsorship performed?
- /account/sponsorships lists all your sponsorships, shows whether they are live or ended, and displays the dates, impressions and clicks for each one.
