How do I get on the billboard?
The billboard ranks listings by money contributed. It's a separate paid leaderboard from votes and other rankings.

Your own paid leaderboard
The billboard is a distinct ranking at /leaderboards/billboard. Unlike the community leaderboard or Launch of the Week, which are built on votes, the billboard orders listings by total money their owners have put in. The page makes this clear: it's labelled as a paid ranking, separate from all other systems.
How rankings stack up
The billboard, community votes, verification badges and Domain Rating are four independent ranking systems, each marked plainly. Putting money toward the billboard does not buy you votes, shift your position elsewhere or affect any other leaderboard.
How to join
From your account you can contribute once your listing is live. Go to /account/listings, find the listing you want, select "Upgrades and extras" and look for Billboard. Enter how much you wish to contribute in US dollars—the minimum is $5. You can also add a contribution at the plan step when you first submit a listing.
How money works here
You set the dollar amount. Each time you contribute, that sum joins what you've already put in. The board orders by the combined total. Everyone who has contributed appears on the billboard. Promo codes do not reduce what you contribute.
The backlink
Each contributor's name on /leaderboards/billboard links to its website. These links are followed: they carry no nofollow. Yours stays for life, even as other companies contribute more. A take-down for breaking the rules, or a refunded contribution, is the only reason it would be removed.
Questions people ask
- Does the billboard affect my votes or Launch of the Week chances?
- No. The billboard, community votes, verification and Domain Rating are separate systems. Money on the billboard does not change votes or your standing in any other ranking.
- What's the minimum I can contribute?
- $5 in US dollars.
- Can I add more money to the billboard later?
- Yes. Each new contribution adds to your total, and your ranking updates to reflect the new sum.
- Do I get a followed link from the billboard?
- Yes. Every contributor gets a followed link to its website from the full board, for life. A take-down for breaking the rules or a refund is the only exception.
